Welcome
We are an Apostolic Church where we still teach and preach the Apostles' Doctrine, which is repentance, water baptism in Jesus' name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost to be born again the Bible way.
Upcoming Events
Join us for our 3rd annual Christmas Dinner and Show. Enjoy a night with family and friends. We will begin with a delicious meal shared in good company before our musical adaptation of a Dicken's classic tale featuring Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, and Tiny Tim continues our Christmas celebration together. From "Bah Humbug" to "God bless us everyone!" this show will bring the nostalgic moments of the Christmas story we've all heard from years gone by. We pray Tiny Tim's words echo in our hearts as we all go our way and that everyone has a very merry Christmas.

History and Mission of Bethlehem Church
In 1945 Bethlehem Church began to take form. It began with a young girl from this community. She attended a revival in Pumpkin Center, was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost. She was so stirred, she came home and started a prayer meeting. Other people in the community began to get stirred. They got in contact with the preacher from the Pumpkin Center revival, his name was Alvie Bishop. Bro. Bishop held a revival in the old Overton School house that was just down the road; soon they organized a church. After a year, Bro. Bishop left and Bro. Jim Pipkin pastored for a year. When Bro. Pipkin left, he called a preacher from Atlanta to come and take the small congregation. Bro. J. Frank Wilson moved his growing family here in 1947-48. Bro. JFrank Wilson’s son, Bro. Steve Wilson became the pastor in the 1980’s. In 2004, Pastor Vazquez came to assume the leadership of the church. Someone asked him what kind of church he’d like to build here in Bethlehem, after considering the question, he replied, “The kind of church my children can go to Heaven from.” That is what he wants, all of us to go to Heaven together.
